What you receive

Deliverables, stated before we start.

Families are infrastructure. Content that is over-modelled, badly parameterised or inconsistently named degrades every project it touches, so each family is flex-tested and schedule-tested before it enters the library.

Getting started

What we need from you.

Scope gaps are cheaper to resolve before modelling than after. These are the inputs that set the programme and the price.

Input 01

Manufacturer datasheets, CAD or approved shop drawings

Input 02

Your content naming and classification standard, if one exists

Input 03

The schedules and parameters the family has to populate

FAQ

Revit family creation — common questions.

Will detailed families slow the model down?

They can, which is why geometry is modelled to the coarse, medium and fine detail levels rather than at full detail always, and why we report file weight and nesting depth on delivery.

Can you build from manufacturer data?

Yes. We work from datasheets, CAD blocks or approved shop drawings, and flag where published data is incomplete rather than inventing dimensions.

Do you standardise an existing library?

Yes. Audit, deduplicate, re-parameterise and rename against your standard, with a mapping table so existing projects can be migrated deliberately.
