Architectural BIM modeling — common questions.
Can you work in our template?
Yes, and we prefer it. Where no template exists we can set one up, which is usually cheaper than reconciling inconsistent output later.
What LOD do you model to?
Whatever the downstream use requires, stated explicitly per element category. Uniform LOD across a whole model is almost always the wrong answer.
Do you produce the drawings as well as the model?
Yes. Sheets are generated from the model and issued to your numbering and titleblock standard, so drawings and model do not drift apart.
